Monica is currently completing her Master of Social Work at the University of Toronto in the Advanced Standing Children and their Families stream.

She brings a wealth of experience from her work in child welfare settings, where she has supported children and families through various life phases and family dynamics. Monica specializes in developing personalized care plans, providing culturally sensitive counselling, navigating systemic barriers, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to address complex needs. Her diverse background equips her with the skills and empathy to guide clients through challenges and foster positive change.

Monica is passionate about providing holistic, client-centered support to children, youth, and families. Her practice integrates evidence-based approaches, strengths-based interventions, and family systems support from a trauma-informed lens.
